Remotely accessing your office computer via any computer using the browser.
- Go to https://rds.mwlaw.com/
- Sign in with your firm email and password
- Approve the 2-factor authentication push (DUO)
- Sign in a second time with your email and password
- Click on Remote Desktop
- If prompted with Access Local Resources, check the box for "Don't ask me again for connections to this computer" and click Allow

Approve a second 2-factor authentication push (DUO)
- You won’t see Duo in the remote session; it will be hidden. You can click Show Details in the above step to view the connecting process and Duo if you need to choose a different MFA method like a Phone Call or Passcode.
- By default you will get a Duo prompt on your phone when you are connecting. It will confirm you are connecting to FXRDS2

Enter your office computer name in the remote desktop connection if the first time
If you do not know your computer name, please reach out to IT for it. You can call 501-370-4291, email ithelpdesk@mwlaw.com or use the Submit a request link at the top or further down this page.
- Click Connect
- Enter your password
- Approve a third 2-factor authentication push (DUO)
You are now connected to your office computer.
Limitations of the browser option
You can only use one monitor for the connection.
There is some input lag, moderately fast typers will see some lag when typing.
Helpful Tips
You can maximize the web browser to take up the whole screen with these two options on the screen:
- The push pin icon in the top right, this icon will cause the grey bar at the top to hide when you move your mouse away from it. You can show it again by moving your mouse to the top edge again.
- The diagonal double ended arrow, this icon sets the browser to full screen mode.
Using both options will enable the remote desktop area to take up the whole monitor.
